The Pounders Development Group is a collection of commercial real estate professionals lead by the experience and expertise of Gregg Pounders.
Gregg Pounders, President
Having graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Real Estate and Urban Development in 1982 and then on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama in 1984, Gregg Pounders started his career in commercial real estate in 1984.
Gregg earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1987, joining the ranks of the most highly skilled commercial and investment real estate experts in the industry. After completing graduate level coursework on topics such as ethics, interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis, Gregg assembled a portfolio of commercial real estate experience and properties, demonstrating that he is proficient not only in theory, but also in practice.
Gregg serves on the Board of Directors at First Metro Bank. Past member of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce Business Council and he is also a past Director for Southeastern Diabetes Education Services, an organization whose mission is to educate, encourage and empower children with diabetes and their families to live well.
Gregg holds real estate licenses in Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. Current member of the Alabama CCIM Chapter, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Shoals Area Association of Realtors.
Gregg is a resident of Killen, Alabama and he and his family attend Killen United Methodist Church.
Tina Potts, Property and Asset Management
Tina has been involved in property and asset management since 2003. Her vast experience and familiarity to the Pounders commercial real estate portfolio makes Tina a valuable member of our team. After a brief retirement period in 2018, we are glad to have Tina back with our company.
Tina is a native of Florence, AL and a graduate of Coffee High School.
Kim Pounders, Asset Management
Kim has been involved in the asset management of the various Pounders entities since 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of North Alabama.
Kim is a key member of the financial decision team as it relates to the day to day management of the company’s assets. Her primary function is to assist in all aspects of the administrative, financial, capital and operations of the various properties in the Pounders portfolio. Kim holds an Alabama Real Estate License as well.
Ashlyn Pounders, Public Relations
Ashlyn is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a degree in Public Relations. Ashlyn assists the company with her skill set of marketing and public relations. She works with our third-party marketing team such as the web designer, advertising and other marketing vendors. Her previous experience includes pharmaceutical business marketing and promotion as well as fund development for a non-profit health care entity.
Ashlyn is an active volunteer to Southeastern Diabetes Education Services where she can help children learn to deal with diabetes.
